We stopped looking for monsters under our beds when we realized they lived within us.
Dim Hollow. So unlike the other worlds, a twisting mass of chaos. Completely covered by the darkness, no such thing as daylight only moonlight. The humans who were left to this world were of the worse kind. Murderers, thieves, the insane. The outcast of society. These humans were not so lucky, their world didnt adapt to them. Oh no, the land adapted them. Pulling the myths and nightmares from there memories it corructed there bodies, turning them into the nightmares they once feared. Vampires, werewolves, demons, etc. There was nothing but chaos for awhile, no laws, no right or wrong. Just pure chaos. Anyone who was thrown into this world quickly found themselves the prey and rarely the hunter. These creatures were unique though, living a lot longer than humans. Immortal? Maybe. Killable? Very. Even though most creatures lived extremly long lives without the hint of age every single one of them was kill-able.
That is until one night, the mightiest of three different races (Lycans, vampires, and demons) sat down before one another and made a pact. They needed a system, a very strong system for this chaotic world. Thus the three courts were formed. It didn't happen within a night though. After months of building and working together they built the focal points of the courts. They named it the The City-state of Anubis. The only place in the world with some sort of dim light and not just moon light. The city was not only used for the base of court meetings, it was also used as a small place for markets. If you were not accepted by the courts or you choose not to join one. You were considered free game, no protection.
What is a blood price?
Blood for blood. Lets say you are from the lycan court and you kill someone from the vampire court. The court demands a blood price. Which is the death of that individual. Occasionally someone can step up and take the blood price for you. But really, who wants to die over you? Now this does NOT apply if said vampire STARTED the fight and the lycan killed him. You can still demand the blood price. But the person who wants the blood price must fight the lycan themselves and kill them.
Lycan Court
A strong and passionate court. They are considered to be the most merciful of the three courts but also considered very unprodictable. The lycan court consists of any hybrids.
Demon Court
The darkest of the courts, demon court is best discribed as a court of arrogance and violence. Very much like its name the demon court contains demons and shadow creatures.
Vampire Court
Secluded and distant the vampire court is best known for their cunning. The vampire court is slightly more strict as to who can join the court. They rarely take in the misfits without a court and consist mostely of vampire like creatures.
