The Deadlands

The deadlands is any area outside of the City-state of Anubis. The world of Dim Hollow is an unforgiving and treacherous place. Lacking the lights of the city, the Deadlands is pitch black except for the rare occasions the moon is visible through the hazy clouds. The creatures that inhabit the Deadlands are not unlike those of the city of Anubis, but unlike their more civilized kin, these Deadlanders are feral and savage, living only Darwin's Law, and if you weren't strong you just weren't. You ceased to exist. The small outposts that are formed are used ravaged and ransacked within a week, leaving the land littered with the remnants of old fortifications and campsites. Many who wish to live without constant fear in this world simply live in the city of Anubis.
