A lesson without pain is meaningless. For you cannot gain anything without sacrificing something else in return.
Finding a land of magical wonders, the humans who inhabited what we now call "Mage world" found quickly that there bodies adapted quickly to this magical world. With the help of a mysterious man who came from the shadows and taught them about what was happening to their bodies. Magic. He slowly tought them how to used the abilities they had been gifted with. After years of studying, training, and passing on the knowledge from elder to youth they slowly built their cities. Their libraries grew, their knowledge expanded.
Who inhabit Mage world?
Mage world is consisted of two groups. The Elementalist and the Alchemists. There are both different types of elementalist and alchemist.
What is an Alchemist?
An Alchemist is one of the many remarkable individuals capable of studying and practicing alchemy. As the craft of alchemy requires a full understanding of chemistry, physics and ancient alchemical theory, alchemists are closer to scientists than magicians, but the ability to perform alchemy is also tied to an inherent talent for manipulating matter and energy. Though essentially scientists, alchemists' abilities are incredibly practical and can be applied to the simple enhancement of normal life in the form of quick, relatively effortless repair of objects that ordinarily take a good deal of time and energy to fix. There are two types of alchemist. Most commonly those who need a transmutation circle to do anything. And the rare few who do not need a transmutation circle. To become an alchemist who doesnt need a trasmutation must give go before the gate.
Any alchemist who attempts a Human Transmutation is summoned before the Gate by the transmutation's rebound and is confronted briefly by the being known as Truth before the Gate itself pulls them through its doors. Inside, pure knowledge about the world, the universe, alchemy and everything is forced into the alchemist's mind as he or she begins to break down both physically and mentally, becoming part of the flow. However, the alchemist is only granted as much knowledge is proportionate to what is being given up as a "toll" through the Gate. For example, Edward Elric, who gave up his left leg as toll, only saw so much, but his brother Alphonse - who had given up his whole body - saw a bit further. It is unknown what happens to those alchemists whose lives are given up, but the Philosopher's Stone appears to be the only thing that would allow one to pass through the Gate without paying a personal toll. If an alchemist survives his or her passage through the Gate, they are sent back to the mortal plane without whatever they left behind as payment.
What is an Elementalist?
Elementalists are multi-faceted spellcasters that channel elemental forces, making fire, air, earth, and water do their bidding. What they lack in physical toughness, they make up in versatility and the ability to inflict massive damage in a single attack. You also have you're four different types of elementalist. It is not unusal for people to posses two types. Rare for people to posses three. Almost unheard of for one to be heard of that could posses four but it is not impossible.
Fire
Elementalists can inflict scorching damage on multiple enemies by turning the ground to fire, raining down molten rock from the skies, and more.
Air
By harnessing wind and lightning, elementalists can target specific foes with focused, high-damage attacks.
Water
Elementalists can chill their foes with ice and rejuvenate their allies with water.
Earth
Elementalists can cause the ground under their feet to come to their aid, turn flesh to stone, destabilize foes with seismic shocks, or trigger volcanic eruptions.

So you want to be a part of mage world? Below are some of the ranks in which you can put on you're profile.
(NOTE: You will ALWAYS start as a citizen. Your rank MUST be earned. If you have any confusion about what this means message an admin or administrator.)
Arch Mage
Archmage are a type of powerful caster that represent the pinnacle of magical power. Weaving their intricate enchantments, these magi defend themselves and their allies with all the magical powers they have accumulated through their broad and intense studies. Archmagi realize the benefits, not only of a powerful and attuned mind, but a strengthened and prepared body as well.
Wizard/Witch
Wizards use the world and the elements around them to invoke magic. Additive magic allows them to enhance, add to, manipulate, or multiply something or some effect to create otherwise impossible phenomena. A witch is a female version of a warlock.
Hierophant/Prophetess
A hierophant is a person who brings religious congregants into the presence of that which is deemed holy. A hierophant is an interpreter of sacred mysteries and arcane principles. A prophetess is a female version of Hierophant
Sorcerer/Sorceress
A sorcerer is just a more powerful version of a wizard/witch and also a bit more sinister, having means to darker magic.
Battle Mage
Battle Mages are proficient with all basic melee and ranged weapons, they typically prefer to wield a sword in one hand, for defense, and a staff in the other, to focus and channel their magical power. Often they will don lighter armors that allow them the range of movement and flexibility necessary for their spellcasting and incantations, although armor of any type interferes with the battle mages arcane gestures. This interference can cause his or her spells to fail, backfire or have other unintended consequences, should those spells have somatic components. As battle mages accompany warriors into battle, they become more skilled at defending themselves than other wizards. They develop greater martial skill in the crucible of battle.
Enchanter/Enchantress
Enchanters/Enchantress's are those who enchant normal items to give the items magical abilities or enhance already magical items. They also destroy magical items in order to acquire materials for later enchantments. The creation of a magic item is a difficult and time-consuming process that is mentally and physically draining. The crafts-person must put a little bit of themselves into every magically empowered item he or she produces, leaving them ever so slightly diminished from their efforts.
Cleric/Priestess
Priestess/Cleric are masters of healing and preservation, restoring their wounded allies and shielding them in battle. While they have a variety of protective and enhancement spells to bolster their allies, they can also wreak terrible vengeance on their enemies, using the grand powers of the Holy Light to smite and purge them, or the devastating powers of the shadow to decimate their minds. The priest is a diverse and powerful class, highly desirable in any group, and capable of fulfilling multiple roles.
White Mage
A highly skilled mage, white mages use solely nature magic. They not only call on nature for their magic but can call on nature spirits. Each plant, animal, rock, and other entity has a spirit. These spirits can join together, in a hive-mind, as a spirit of an area. Nature spirits include real biological intelligences, are psychically powerful, and are much less abstract and controllable than the Elementals that many magical people who perform all of their rituals indoors are familiar with.
Dark Mage
The dark mage is the exact opposite of a white mage. Using the darker sides of nature magic and the many dark spirits that dwell the mage world.
Apprentice
Title should speak for itself, any person in training to be one of the above ranks.
Acolyte
Acolytes are novice priests-in-training clerics-in-training and can usually perform less powerful healing.

So you want to be a part of Alchemist world? Below are some of the ranks in which you can put on you're profile.
(NOTE: You will ALWAYS start as a citizen. Your rank MUST be earned. If you have any confusion about what this means message an admin or administrator.)
General Of the Army
The General Of the Army is the leader of the Alchemists. It is through his divine leadership and precise military tactics that the alchemist civilization is able to live in peace with its magical neighbors as well as deal with the results of The Great Rift.
General
The General is a four-star general officer rank. The grade of general is currently considered to be the highest appointment an officer. The General is a title used in many countries to denote the rank of general nominally commanding an army in the field. An Army general is normally the highest rank used in peace time. The title "army general" should not be confused with the rank "general of the army", which is more senior. The position of "general of the army" theoretically corresponds to overall command of an entire national army, while the position of "army general" only corresponds to the command of an individual army in the field.
Lieutenant General
The rank traces its origins to the Middle Ages where the title of lieutenant general was held by the second in command on the battlefield, who was normally subordinate to a captain general. In modern armies, lieutenant general is a three-star general officer rank, normally ranks immediately below general and above major general. A lieutenant general typically commands a corps-sized unit (20,000 to 45,000 soldiers.)
Major General
A Major General is a two-star general-officer rank. To be promoted to the permanent grade of major general, officers who are eligible for promotion to this rank are screened by an in-service promotion board comprising other general officers from their branch of service. This promotion board then generates a list of officers it recommends for promotion to general rank. This list is then sent to the service secretary and the joint chiefs for review before it can be sent to the President, through the defense secretary for consideration. A major general is a high-ranking officer, normally subordinate to the rank of lieutenant general and senior to the ranks of brigadier and brigadier general. A major general in most armies commands a division, however in some countries he commands a brigade (3,000–5,000 soldiers.)
Brigadier General
A Brigadier General is a one-star general officer. For promotion to the permanent grade of brigadier general, eligible officers are screened by a promotion board consisting of general officers from their branch of service.[2] This promotion board then generates a list of officers it recommends for promotion to general rank.[3] This list is then sent to the service secretary and the joint chiefs for review before it can be sent to the President, through the defense secretary, for consideration. A Brigadier General typically serves as deputy commander to the commanding general of a division (10,000–15,000 soldiers) or division-sized units and assists in overseeing the planning and coordination of a mission. In an infantry brigade not organic to a division, a brigadier general serves as the unit's commander, while a colonel serves as deputy commander.
Colonel
Colonel is a senior field grade military officer rank immediately above the rank of lieutenant colonel and immediately below the rank of brigadier general. Colonels typically commands brigade-sized units (4,000 to 6,000 soldiers), with another colonel or a lieutenant colonel as Deputy Commander, a major as executive officer, and a Command Sergeant Major as a senior non-commissioned officer advisor.
Lieutenant Colonel
a lieutenant colonel is a field grade military officer rank just above the rank of major and just below the rank of colonel. A lieutenant colonel typically commands a battalion-sized unit (300 to 1,200 soldiers), with a major as second-in-command and a command sergeant major as principal NCO adviser. A lieutenant colonel may also serve as a brigade, regiment, or task force executive officer, or principal staff officer,
Major/State Alchemist
Major is a field grade military officer rank just above the rank of captain and just below the rank of lieutenant colonel. A major serves as a battalion executive officer (XO) or as the battalion operations officer. A major can also serve as a primary staff officer for a regiment, brigade or task force (3,000–5,000 soldiers) in the areas concerning personnel, logistical and operations. A major will also be a staff officer / action officer on higher staffs and headquarters.
---------------------------------------------
As members of the military, State Alchemists are privy to the most advanced alchemical resources, including exclusive access to the best research materials as well as state-of-the-art government laboratories, and are given a sizable research grant each year which can be put to any purpose a State Alchemist so chooses. Also on the list of perks is an automatic military officer rank equivalent to that of Major and all the considerable military authority and government influence that comes with it.
Captain
Captain is a commissioned officer rank. A captain usually serving as the commander of a company-sized unit (80–250 soldiers) in the ground forces or serving as an executive officer or staff officer for a larger unit such as a battalion (300 to 1,200 soldiers.)
First Lieutenant
A first lieutenant is a junior commissioned officer. It is just above the rank of second lieutenant and just below the rank of captain. The difference between the two ranks is slight, primarily being experienced and having higher pay. It is not uncommon to see officers moved to positions requiring more experience after promotion to first lieutenant. For example, in the Army these positions can include leading a specialty platoon, or assignment as the executive officer for a company-sized unit (70-250 soldiers)
Second Lieutenant
A second lieutenant is the normal entry-level rank for most commissioned officers. Second lieutenant typically commands a platoon-size element (16 to 44 soldiers.)
Sergeant Major
Sergeant major is a senior non-commissioned rank or appointment in many militaries around the world. Sergeant major refers to both a military rank and a specific leadership position. It is the highest enlisted rank, the leadership position—command sergeant major—is the senior enlisted advisor to the commanding officer and carries with it certain ceremonial functions such as caring for the unit's colors (flag). Additionally, command sergeants major serve as monitors of, and advocates for, the enlisted soldiers in the command. This position mostly exists in units of battalion size and larger.
Sergeant
Sergeant (normally abbreviated to Sgt) is a rank used in some form by most militaries, police forces, and other uniformed organizations around the world. Its origins are the Latin serviens, "one who serves", through the French term Sergent.
In most armies the rank of sergeant is classified by NATO as OR-5 and corresponds to command of a squad, which consists of 8 to 14 men.
Corporal
a low-ranking noncommissioned (NCO) officer in the armed forces, in particular an NCO ranking above private first class and below sergeant or an NCO ranking above lance corporal and below sergeant.
Lance Corporal
Lance corporal is a military rank, used by many armed forces worldwide, and also by some police forces and other uniformed organizations. It is below the rank of corporal, and is typically the lowest non-commissioned officer.
Private
A private is a soldier of the lowest military rank.
---------------------------------------------
Apprentice Alchemist
An apprentice alchemist is a new to the alchemist world, unable to manage anything besides the basic transmutations inside of a circle. Although they are still skilled in select forms of alchemy, their lack of knowledge prohibits them from achieving ranked status until they learn at least two forms of alchemy.
Ranked Alchemist
A ranked alchemist is an alchemist who has taken his/her examination at the military headquarters or a specialized examination hall within their town or village. They are far more adept at alchemy then the apprentices, some able to use multiple transmutation circles at once. Becoming a ranked alchemist is the equivalent of being a state alchemist in the civilian world, the ranked alchemists doing their best to assist the populous in their own ways, although, not every ranked alchemist has good intentions.
Master Alchemist
A master alchemist has spent a large portion of their life dedicated to the art of Alchemy. It is not unheard of, but not extremely common for some master alchemists to call upon the powers of alchemy without a transmutation circle. Master Alchemists may only achieve this rank through state certification with the military, taking a test before three officers and two master alchemists. This is the highest rank achieved by a civilian alchemist.
